Writing
I write plays, stories, poems, and nonfiction work. I am currently working on Westward Expansion, a trilogy of plays that traces the development of individualism, love and loneliness from Kant’s Copernican Revolution in 1781 (“A Priori”) to modern times. As well as a ridiculous play about a man who dreams of regrowing his own teeth…but that’s a story for another time. Some writing highlights:
My first play, Black and Blue, was produced by Corrib Theatre as part of their 2024-25 season. You can find an archive of that production here.
Zrno Arts will be publishing Black and Blue as a deluxe arts edition in December, 2025. You will soon be able to order a copy here.
You can find a short story of mine, “Lambs to Slaughter,” in this edition of The First Line.
My little play, “Deep Breath,” won the Judge’s Choice Award in PlayWrite’s 2024 Play-A-Thon event!
Just for fun…here is a link to my old travel writing blog, the first writing I ever shared online. Written in my early twenties, so be advised. ;)
